About Our Punta Gorda Branch
Our Punta Gorda branch is located in a 5,000-square-foot facility on the corner of Tamiami Trail and Airport Road. We started out in a temporary modular facility while the branch was being constructed and moved to the current location in 1999. We quickly developed a loyal customer following that has grown over the years, becoming the “Hometown Bank" for Punta Gorda and surrounding areas. We practice the friendly, hometown service, offering our personal and business customers banking and borrowing services for area residents and businesses. Our Trust and Wealth Management services division greatly contributed to our success, as local residents came to rely on our professional trustee and asset management services.

The latter is an all-volunteer organization founded in the wake of Hurricane Charley to help rebuild the city and help make Punta Gorda a better place to live and work, while the Punta Gorda Rotary stages the annual “Taste of Punta Gorda,” a major fundraiser. James Coalwell
Commercial Banker, VP
James began his banking career in 1994 while still in high school. After accumulating more than two decades of experience in lending and finance, James joined the Bank in October of 2020. He filled similar positions locally and in his native Minnesota.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and an associate degree in management at Minnesota State University in 2001. Prior to moving to Florida in 2006, he spent time at a pair of firms in Minnesota, serving as a senior home equity representative, senior retail credit analyst, and lead underwriter.
In Florida, James held leadership positions as a Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer, and Vice President of Commercial Lending prior to joining the Bank. A graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class in 2009, James' education also includes graduating with honors from the Florida School of Banking in Gainesville in 2011 and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2014, the same year he completed the Farr Leadership Institute.

Holly Selders
Residential Lender, VP

Prior to joining the Bank in 2014, Holly served in executive positions at lending institutions in Virginia and Michigan, gaining experience as a Marketing Manager, Office Manager/Processor, Vice President, Mortgage Loan Auditor, Operations Manager and Senior Vice President. She understands the intricacies of loan origination, pricing, loan calculation, contracts and closing documents.
While serving as Senior Vice President and Operations Manager of Secondary Marketing for a Virginia-based home funding firm, she supervised oversight of contracts, all aspects of licensing, and federal and state reporting requirements, among myriad other duties.
She is based at the Bank's Punta Gorda office and is a winner of the Charlotte Sun newspaper Readers’ Choice Award as Best Mortgage Officer. She has served as Treasurer of C.A.R.E. Auxiliary and is a longtime member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and a Tidewell Hospice House volunteer.

Holli Livingston
Retail Banking Officer, VP

Holli is the Retail Banking Officer, VP at the Punta Gorda branch. She has over 15 years of banking experience.
A Kentucky native, Holli became a Florida resident in July 2014. She graduated from St. Paul College with a degree in business management and began her banking career as a personal banker while still in college. She has worked in the Englewood, Port Charlotte, and Punta Gorda markets for the past eight years, most recently as a branch manager for another financial institution in Punta Gorda prior to joining the Bank.
Holli’s community involvement includes volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club, where she educated local students about banking fundamentals. She also participated in the Lighthouse Project, supporting local agencies with supplies for foster families and local food pantries.
Holli enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling with her family in her spare time.
