Michael oversees the people and policies of the Trust and Investment Management Services Department and manages the individual investment holdings of Charlotte State Bank & Trust’s Trust clients. His clients include individuals, families, foundations, and institutions throughout the state of Florida.

Michael serves on the Tampa Bay Committee on Foreign Relations and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Bankers Association and the Florida Bankers Educational Foundation. He is immediate past-chairman of the Board of Directors for the Historic Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales for which he now serves on the Investment Committee. He is a former president of both the Harvard Club of Central Florida and the Harvard Club of the West Coast of Florida. Michael is a 2005 Graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay.

Lory manages the daily operations of Trust and Investment Management Services division to help coordinate the diverse services provided. She has more than 25 years of banking and financial experience, the last 15 of which have been with Charlotte State Bank & Trust. During this time, she has served in a variety of capacities with advancing responsibilities. Her knowledge of operations provides the resources necessary to lead a team of professionals to offer banking and trust products and services with a high degree of personal attention.

Christine utilizes her extensive financial and estate planning experience to develop new client relationships at Charlotte State Bank & Trust’s Trust and Investment Management Services division, including Revocable Living Trusts, IRA Rollovers, Investment Management Services and charitable giving strategies.

Cindee is experienced in all aspects of estate planning. An attorney, she has created estate plans and drafted wills, living trusts and powers of attorney. She has an extensive background in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estates and Elder Law.

As a Trust Officer, Cindee administers accounts and acts as an estate representative, trustee or guardian of property. She works with new and existing clients to serve as a point of contact and ensure that trust and investment management documentation is properly administered and that her clients’ wishes are carried out.

Cindee’s education and experience includes:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL
  • Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL
  • Graduate of Leadership Charlotte, class of 1992 (class president)

  • Twelve years experience with the Farr Law Firm in Charlotte County

Prior to joining Charlotte State Bank & Trust, Cindee followed a lifelong dream of opening her own business. She and her husband Dennis opened Pies & Plates in Punta Gorda.They grew the business into one of Punta Gorda’s most popular eateries and retail stores, winning many awards. Pies and Plates was named Business of the Year by both the Charlotte County and Punta Gorda Chambers of Commerce and Retailer of the Year for Leadership by the Florida Retail Federation.

As a Portfolio Manager for Trust and Investment Management Services, Greg manages the investment holdings of clients via their trust, IRA, or individually titled accounts. He also manages assets for private foundations and nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Florida.  Greg graduated from Mercy College in New York with a bachelor’s degree in government in 1988. He began his career in computer and internet technology in New York City and operated his own consulting and support firm in the early 2000s. He entered financial management in 2009 and served as a financial manager before joining the bank. He is currently studying to become a Certified Financial Planner.

Greg’s professional background includes:

In her capacity as Trust Officer, Patty administers accounts and acts as an estate representative, trustee, guardian of property or investment management agent. She works with new and existing clients, serving as a point of contact and ensuring that trust and investment management documentation is properly administered and that her clients’ wishes are carried out.

Patty has 30 years of banking experience, including 19 years in estate planning. Her proficiencies include trust administration, retirement planning, investment management, developing asset protection strategies, addressing tax and estate planning issues, and implementing plans to reach clients’ goals. Patty’s educational background includes:

Angie works with new and existing clients, serving as a point of contact, ensuring that trust and investment management is properly administered to her client’s wishes. Her responsibilities include preparing new account documents and responding to client inquires and requests.

Brittney has more than 10 years of banking and financial experience, having held a variety of positions including operational, investment, retail and customer service.

As an Investment Account Officer, Brittney assists in managing individual investment holdings of Trust and Investment Management Services clients. She works with the Investment Management Team to monitor market conditions and identify objectives, preferences and circumstances in order to develop specific explicit investment policies for investors. Brittney provides oversight and monitors managed model portfolios to reflect significant change in any or all relevant variables. She also assists in business development activities.

Brittney has an Associate Degree in Business from the University of Central Florida, specializing in Accounting and Finance. She is currently enrolled in the American Bankers Association Certificate in Trust program working toward achieving her Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation. Brittney is a native of Port Charlotte area and is actively involved in the local community through Autism Awareness associations and performing arts enrichment programs.

Susan puts her 35 years of banking, finance and customer service experience to use in her position as Trust Operations Specialist, 20 of those years have been in varying positions with Charlotte State Bank & Trust. During those years, she has held positions as Personal Banker, iBanking Representative and eServices Supervisor. Prior to joining the Hometown Bank, she was a financial services supervisor and assistant branch manager. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, crocheting and tending to her pets.

In her capacity as Trust Operations Specialist, Susan supports department operations such as daily balancing and settlement functions. She delivers and receives clients' assets and maintains a master security file as well as tax and probate information. She also assists clients with inquiries, requests and support.
